I keep my alarm clock in my bathroom so that I'm forced to get out of bed in the morning. Sad, I know, but it's the only effective way for me to make it to work on time.
The alarm clock rang at 5:10 & 5:15, I have a setting for two alarms, I hit the snooze three times... I laid back on the bed after the final snooze hit to snuggle back up to Ryan. I was lying on my back, blankets of warmth close to my body and then WHACK!!! The hand of my love hit me right across my unexpected cheek. Now before you think my boyfriend beats me, he was still sleeping. I laid there in shock for a good 5 seconds and then began to tear up. I mean, it didn't HURT but it was like "uhhh, you just slapped my fucking face!"
Ryan woke up as a GASP escaped my mouth. Half realizing what had happened, he apologized incessantly. He felt awful. The best part of the story: He thought he was slapping a roach off of his arm in his dream.
I'm much cuter than a roach.
Leave a comment and I will:
a) tell you why I friended you,
b) associate you with something - fandom, a song, a colour, a photo, etc.,
c) tell you something I like about you,
d) tell you a memory I have of you,
e) ask something I've always wanted to know about you,
f) tell you my favorite user pic of yours,
g) in return, you must post this in your LJ.
Somethings, I should keep to myself. Sorry to confuse anyone.
Still trying to get Ryan up to date on Grey's. Conversation following an episode with a hermaphrodite.
Me: Would you still love me if I had a penis?
Him: I feel like this is a trick question.
Me: Would you?
Him: Would you still be you?
Him: Then, yes.
There isn't much to say when you're not saying anything.
Sometimes, you have to sit back & let the disaster roll through.
Then count the casualties when it's over.
If you have to be secretive, walk on egg shells and remember what certain
people know about certain things... it probably isn't a healthy situation.
What do I know?
This weekend I:
- played my first show
- lazed around in my pj's.
- watched The Incredibles
- loved on my baby boy
- spent time with ryan
- & worked.
The show went well, you can read more about it here. I'm too lazy to go through and replay that whole night.
ps. i'm happy too.
It was a spider bite. Yay!
I feel silly sometimes for posting here & my new blog, I feel unoriginal, I want to talk about the same things but I'll resist.
Ryan & I are trying to get some friends together tonight for a little bowling action after practice. Maybe I can kick butt in bowling and redeem myself from the awful game of scrabble last night.
Life is good.
